[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The Wellness Feed launched as a lifestyle and news publication devoted to the wellness and eco-friendly scene in 2020. Created by a journalist, TWF answers readers’ questions about living sustainably with educational and call-to-action articles. Some readers have even dubbed The Wellness Feed as; ‘news you can use.’

Here at TWF, we pride ourselves on being a one-of-a-kind publication with transparent brand interviews highlighting ways companies are and aren’t sustainable. That begins with researching and vetting a brand to ensure that from sourcing to shipping the finished product, they have made the best choice possible to minimize their environmental impact while making a positive social impact. We aren’t afraid to ask brands the hard questions. A few routine questions that we ask brands are:

  • What does it take for your brand to be sustainable? In what ways do you feel that you’re not sustainable?
  • How do you source sustainably and ethically?
  • Are your materials regenerative, organic, upcycled, or recycled?
  • How are you preventing water waste and pollution?
  • How are you preventing waste at your product’s end-of-life?
  • Is your packaging single-use plastic?
  • Do you invest in a living wage?
  • How do you give back to communities where you source the raw materials for your products? How do you ensure the economic well-being of your workers?
  • Is your management team diverse and inclusive?
  • What are your company goals to be more ethical and sustainable in the future?

Everything that we consume has an impact, so we don’t believe in the perfect sustainable brand. We believe in making the best possible choice. That’s what we look for in brands.

As much as we place importance on transparent interviews, we also aim to guide readers on how we can cultivate a more sustainable lifestyle by making simple swaps and conscious choices every day. We highlight this through:

We love to answer readers’ questions and offer guides sharing ways we can be more considerate of the environment every day. And, just as we view sustainable brands, we don’t believe in the perfect sustainable lifestyle. Instead, we look for the best possible choices that we can make.

As a unique lifestyle publication, The Wellness Feed is a proud part of the Female Founders Collective, Black Owned Media, and has been featured on podcasts.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row css=”.vc_custom_1647858602313{margin-top: 10px !important;}”][vc_column width=”1/4″ css=”.vc_custom_1647859041924{border-top-width: 0px !important;border-right-width: 1px !important;border-bottom-width: 0px !important;border-left-width: 0px !important;padding-right: 20px !important;border-left-color: rgba(2,2,2,0.18) !important;border-left-style: solid !important;border-right-color: rgba(2,2,2,0.18) !important;border-right-style: solid !important;border-top-color: rgba(2,2,2,0.18) !important;border-top-style: solid !important;border-bottom-color: rgba(2,2,2,0.18) !important;border-bottom-style: solid !important;}”][vc_single_image image=”3959″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_custom_heading text=”Lindsay Christinee” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center”][vc_single_image image=”15147″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_custom_heading text=”Matthew Woodward” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center”][vc_single_image image=”15152″ img_size=”full” style=”vc_box_circle_2″ onclick=”zoom”][vc_custom_heading text=”Treana Ferraro” font_container=”tag:h3|text_align:center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”3/4″][vc_column_text]Lindsay Christinee is the founder and creative director of The Wellness Feed and channels her passion and experience into this media startup.
