Designer Robert Rodriguez debuted his RTW SS 2024 collection for his new evening wear label, Kolston, at New York Fashion Week.
KOLSTON, established in 2023 by Robert Rodriguez, is a luxury eveningwear collection that focuses on sustainable fabrics, beautifully handcrafted details, and uncompromising quality. “After working for decades in the fashion industry, I wanted to do something more meaningful than simply creating clothing,” Robert stated. “KOLSTON is a sustainable eveningwear collection that supports artists and artisans through collaborations and partnerships that allow me to intertwine their work with my own.”
KOLSTON’s prints, silhouettes, color palate, and fabrications were inspired by founder, Robert Rodriguez’s collaboration with Abstract Expressionist, Vicky Barranguet. He collaborated with her on a series of canvases titled DANCE which he reinterpreted and served as the foundation for his Spring 2024 Collection.
The marriage of high fashion and art has fascinated the designer for decades and continues to impact cultures around the world. Through collaborations with artists and artisans, KOLSTON brings a common thread between masters of their crafts. KOLSTON seeks to build a sustainable platform that will change the way we look at fashion. Intertwining art throughout this evening wear collection.

KOLSTON is made with certified and natural fabrics, including FSC Certified cady crepe and silky viscose jersey. Our cotton and voile are sourced from Italy and woven at a family-owned mill that meets the highest European standards using nontoxic dyes and responsible manufacturing. Silk textiles were chosen for their natural and biodegradable properties, while the ostrich feathers are cruelty-free, eco-friendly, and biodegradable.
